Michael is a business and transactional lawyer. His focus is on developing innovative solutions to business and commercial issues by adopting a “how can it be achieved” approach.
He has extensive experience in off market corporate acquisitions, financial and corporate restructures and “deal” based transactions. He works as principal external legal counsel to a number of listed and unlisted local and foreign corporations. He has a detailed knowledge and experience in a broad range of industries including, motor trades, recruitment, franchising, and financial services.
Michael is admitted to practice as a solicitor and barrister in NSW and Federal Courts. He has served on a number of Law Society committees, is a member of ACLA, is a trustee of a large unlisted private trust, and is company secretary of a rapidly growing financial services organisation. Michael has organised a number of international legal conferences and charity golf days, is an active director of Berghutte Ski Club- Thredbo and is Secretary of Mosman Rugby Club.
Michael holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Master of Laws from the University of Sydney.
Michael is an active skier, surfer and golfer, with a keen interest in the Italian language.
